The Red Dawn remake could’ve been a smart action movie about the definition of terrorism, how far you should go in pursuit of what’s right, American combat and politics post-9/11, and so on and still been a rocking action movie… but instead it’s a movie that looks so generic and awful that it should end somebody’s career.
